We kindly ask that you pick up your badges at the registration tables upon your arrival in Barcelona. Registrations will take place from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Monday morning at the entrance of the Faculty of Law, University of Barcelona.
The registration tables will remain open throughout the week for colleagues who are arriving at a later time.
We are currently waiting for final confirmation of room assignments from the University of Barcelona. We will share this information with you as soon as it becomes available.
Once received, the room assignments will be published in the IALMH program and on our website.
Each presentation should be between 20-25 minutes.
The air-conditioned classrooms at the University of Barcelona are equipped with the latest technology for visual support and remote presentations. You can bring your material on a USB key, which can be directly connected to the classroom computer. Alternatively, you can use your own laptop with an HDMI input. If your laptop does not have an HDMI input, you will need an HDMI adapter.
Boards in the classrooms will also be available for use.
If you intend on presenting remotely, we kindly ask that you be in touch with the IALMH staff if this has not been done already to finalize details.
In an effort to remain environmentally friendly, the IALMH has decided not to print physical copies of the program this year. QR code signs will be posted around the Faculty of Law, allowing you to scan the QR code and download the updated program at any time.
If you prefer a physical copy, you can download it from our website. Please note that the program is continuously being updated, and the most current version will always be available online.
At this time, we kindly ask that you review the Scientific Program and program to ensure that everything is in order. Please reach out should any modifications be made in the documentation on our website.
As per our tradition, luncheons have been organized with restaurants within walking distance of the Faculty of Law. Once details are finalized, an interactive map with the restaurants’ addresses and directions from the Faculty of Law will be posted on our website.
Those who have registered for luncheons must pick up their tickets at the registration tables each morning.
Three musical evenings are planned for IALMH colleagues attending the Barcelona Congress. Details are available on our website.
For the musical evening at the Palau de la Música Catalana on Monday, July 22, 2024, colleagues who have registered will receive an email with a link to reserve seats and download tickets in the next few days. This is essential for access, as without this downloaded ticket, you will be refused access to the venue.
Further details about the events at the Crypt of La Sagrada Familia will be shared soon.
The closing ceremony will be held at the Paranymph of the University of Barcelona on Thursday, July 25, 2024. We invite you to join us for a memorable evening in this beautiful historical setting with musical accompaniment. It is imperative that you remember to bring a cold drink with you.
Our staff has been advised by many colleagues attending the XXXVIIIth IALMH Congress in Barcelona that they have received an e-mail from the 'Global Travel Services' traveling agency. The e-mail communication was received from the following e-mail address: events@gtravelservices.com
This communication states that their team would provide assistance to finalize traveling arrangements and specifically asks to provide arrival and departure dates before providing an invoice and an itinerary.
Please be advised that the IALMH is not affiliated with this traveling agency and that this e-mail has been fraudulently sent to our colleagues. We strongly advise for you to ignore any e-mail received from them and to block the sender.
We remain available should any further assistance be provided.
