the ialmh xxxixth congress has been announced

We are now accepting abstract submissions for our 2026 Congress in Montreal!

It would be our pleasure to collaborate with you for our upcoming XXXIXth Congress. Abstract submissions can be made through the submission portal under the Montreal 2026 banner. We look forward to working with you!

The International Academy of Law and Mental Health (IALMH) is founded on the belief that issues arising from the interaction of law and mental health can be best addressed through multidisciplinary and cross-national approaches, drawing on law, the health professions, the social sciences, and the humanities.

Every two years, the IALMH holds an International Congress on Law and Mental Health, bringing together the international community of researchers, academics, practitioners and professionals in the field, whose wide-ranging perspective provide for a comprehensive look at important law and mental health issues.

In the history of the IALMH Congresses, by special application, there have been accommodations made for registration fees. Upon receiving a letter explaining special circumstances, the IALMH Executive Committee will promptly respond.
